Description

These Ultimate Cheeseburger Sliders are perfect for any gathering, combining juicy seasoned ground beef, melted cheddar cheese, and a tangy sauce blend sandwiched in soft slider buns. Topped with a flavorful butter glaze and baked to golden perfection, they deliver that classic cheeseburger taste in convenient bite-sized portions.

Ingredients

Scale

Beef Mixture

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 pound (450g) ground beef
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Sliders and Toppings

  • 12 slider buns (Hawaiian rolls or soft dinner rolls)
  • 6 slices cheddar cheese, halved
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • ½ small red onion, finely chopped
  • 6–8 dill pickle slices, chopped

Butter Glaze

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • ½ teaspoon sesame seeds
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook the Beef: Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef along with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for 6–8 minutes, breaking up the beef as it browns evenly. Drain any excess fat to avoid greasiness.
  2. Prepare the Buns: Slice the slider buns horizontally in half, keeping each half intact. Place the bottom halves in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish to build the sliders.
  3. Assemble the Sliders: Spread mayonnaise on the bottom halves of the buns. Layer cooked beef evenly over them, then place halved cheddar cheese slices on top. Add finely chopped red onion and chopped dill pickles. On the top halves of the buns, spread mustard and ketchup, then place these atop the assembled sliders.
  4. Add the Topping: In a small bowl, mix melted butter with garlic powder, sesame seeds, and dried parsley. Brush this flavorful mixture over the tops of the slider buns thoroughly.
  5. Bake: Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the tops are golden and slightly crispy.
  6. Serve: Allow the sliders to cool slightly before slicing between each bun. Serve warm for the best flavor and texture experience.

Notes

  • Use Hawaiian rolls for a slightly sweet contrast to the savory beef.
  • Cheddar cheese can be substituted with American or Swiss cheese as preferred.
  • Adjust seasoning to your taste, especially salt and pepper.
  • Consider adding sliced tomatoes or lettuce for extra freshness.
  • For a spicier kick, add a dash of hot sauce into the sauce mixture.
  • Sliders are best served warm but can be refrigerated and reheated.
