Ingredients
Tortilla Cinnamon Rolls:
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Glaze:
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 tablespoons milk
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Optional Toppings:
- Chopped nuts or raisins
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Prepare the cinnamon-sugar mixture: In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon.
- Assemble the rolls: Brush each tortilla with melted butter, then sprinkle evenly with the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Roll each tortilla tightly into a log, then slice into 1½-inch pieces.
- Bake the rolls: Place the rolled pieces cut side up in the prepared baking dish. Brush the tops with any remaining butter. Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until the edges are golden and crisp.
- Make the glaze: While the rolls are baking, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl to make the glaze.
- Finish and serve: Drizzle the glaze over the warm rolls and serve immediately.
Notes
- For a richer version, add a layer of cream cheese before rolling.
- These are best served warm and crisp.
- You can also make them in the air fryer at 350°F for 8–10 minutes.
