Description

A refreshing Texas Peach Sangria combining the sweet flavors of peach vodka, fresh and frozen peaches, strawberries, and chardonnay wine, accented with mint and ginger ale for a perfect summer cocktail.

Ingredients

Scale

Liquids

  • 1 bottle chardonnay (750 ml)
  • 1 cup peach vodka
  • 2 cans peach nectar (Jumex)
  • 1 cup ginger ale

Fruits and Herbs

  • 1 bag frozen peaches
  • 1 cup strawberries (diced, hull removed)
  • 1/4 cup minced mint leaves

Instructions

  1. Pour Wine: Pour the entire bottle of chardonnay into a large pitcher suitable for at least 1/2 gallon to 1 gallon capacity.
  2. Add Fruits: Add the frozen peaches along with the diced strawberries into the pitcher and stir gently to combine.
  3. Mix Liquids: Pour in the peach nectar and the peach vodka to the fruit and wine mixture.
  4. Combine: Stir all ingredients thoroughly to ensure the flavors meld together evenly.
  5. Chill: Refrigerate the sangria mixture for at least 1 hour to allow the fruits to infuse the liquid.
  6. Finish with Bubbles and Mint: Just before serving, add the ginger ale and the minced mint leaves, stirring gently to distribute.
  7. Serve: Pour into glasses over ice if desired and enjoy this cool, fruity sangria.

Notes

  • Use a large pitcher to avoid spilling while mixing ingredients.
  • For a stronger peach flavor, increase the amount of peach vodka slightly.
  • Adjust sweetness by using peach nectar or substituting with fresh peach juice.
  • This sangria is best served chilled and consumed within 24 hours for freshness.
  • Ginger ale adds a gentle fizz; alternatively, you can use club soda for less sweetness.
  • For a non-alcoholic version, omit the wine and vodka and add extra peach nectar and ginger ale.
