Description
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with this festive, creamy white chocolate fudge infused with a hint of mint and vibrant green color. This easy no-bake recipe uses simple ingredients and is perfect for holiday gatherings, topped with sparkly edible glitter or gold candies for a magical touch.
Ingredients
Fudge Base
- 3 cups white chocolate chips
- 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- green food coloring (gel or liquid), as needed
- 1/2 teaspoon mint or peppermint extract (optional)
Toppings
- green sprinkles
- edible glitter
- gold candies
Instructions
- Prepare the pan: Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang on the sides to allow for easy removal of the fudge once set.
- Melt the chocolate mixture: In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and salt. Stir continuously to prevent burning until the chocolate is fully melted and the mixture is smooth.
- Add flavors and color: Remove the saucepan from heat. Stir in the vanilla extract and mint or peppermint extract if using. Add a few drops of green food coloring and mix thoroughly until achieving your desired shade of green.
- Pour and decorate: Quickly pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly using a spatula. Decorate the top with green sprinkles, edible glitter, or gold candies to enhance the festive look.
- Set the fudge: Allow the fudge to set at room temperature for 3 to 4 hours or place in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours until firm enough to cut.
- Serve: Lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang and cut into 36 squares for serving.
Notes
- For a layered fudge effect, divide the mixture in half before adding color; leave one half white and color the other green, then layer them in the pan.
- Store fudge in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week or refrigerate for extended shelf life.
