  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped pistachios
  • Red and green food coloring (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper or grease.
  2. Cream butter and sugars: In a large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla.
  3. Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture to form a soft dough.
