- 1 Black Tea Bag
Beverage Base

Instructions
- Infuse Spices: In a small saucepan, combine the crushed cardamom, fresh ginger slices, cinnamon stick, star anise, ground nutmeg, whole allspice, whole cloves, and water. Bring to a boil over high heat. Once boiling, reduce heat to low and simmer gently for 4-6 minutes until the spices release their fragrance.
- Brew Tea: Add the black tea bag to the simmering spices and let it brew for 3-5 minutes, adjusting time according to desired tea strength.
- Strain Spices and Tea Bag: Using a slotted spoon, remove the whole spices from the saucepan and discard the black tea bag, leaving the spiced tea liquid behind.
- Add Pumpkin and Milk: Stir in the milk and pumpkin puree into the spiced tea base. Whisk continuously until the mixture is smooth. Heat for an additional 1-2 minutes until the latte is steaming and becomes frothy. Then, add the maple syrup and stir well to combine.
- Serve and Garnish: Pour the pumpkin spice chai latte into mugs. If desired, top with whipped cream and sprinkle a pinch of ground nutmeg for extra flavor and a festive touch. Enjoy warm!
