Description

These no-bake Peanut Butter Bars combine creamy peanut butter, buttery graham cracker crumbs, and a rich chocolate peanut butter topping for a sweet and satisfying treat. Perfect for an easy dessert or snack, they come together quickly without any baking required.

Ingredients

Scale

Base Layer

  • 1½ cups creamy peanut butter (405 grams)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted (113 grams / 1 stick)
  • 2 cups crushed graham crackers (284 grams, about 18 sheets)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (113 grams)
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Chocolate Topping

  • 2 cups chocolate chips (340 grams)
  • ¼ cup creamy peanut butter (68 grams)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Pan: Line an 8×8 or 9×9-inch pan with parchment paper to ensure easy removal of the bars.
  2. Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, use a hand mixer to blend the 1½ cups peanut butter with the melted butter until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add Dry Ingredients: Beat in the crushed graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, and salt, mixing until the mixture is well combined and smooth.
  4. Form Base Layer: Press this peanut butter mixture evenly into the lined baking dish to create a firm base layer.
  5. Melt Chocolate: In the microwave, melt the chocolate chips in 45-second increments, stirring well after each interval until fully melted and smooth.
  6. Combine Chocolate and Peanut Butter: Stir the ¼ cup peanut butter into the melted chocolate until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy.
  7. Top Base Layer: Pour the chocolate-peanut butter mixture evenly over the prepared base layer in the pan.
  8. Set Bars: Place the pan in the freezer or refrigerator to chill and allow the chocolate layer to firm up completely.
  9. Slice and Serve: Once firm, use the parchment paper to lift out the bars and slice into 16 equal pieces.

Notes

  • For best results, chill the bars for at least 1 hour before slicing to ensure clean cuts.
  • You can substitute semi-sweet chocolate chips with dark or milk chocolate according to preference.
  • Store the bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
  • Freezing is also possible for longer storage; thaw at room temperature before serving.
