Ingredients
Pecan Clusters:
- 2 cups pecan halves (toasted)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 ounces semi-sweet or milk chocolate (optional, for drizzling or dipping)
Instructions
- Prepare the Caramel Mixture: In a saucepan, combine sugar, heavy cream, corn syrup, butter, and salt. Cook until it reaches 235°F.
- Add Pecans: Stir in vanilla extract and toasted pecans. Drop spoonfuls onto a baking sheet.
- Cool and Set: Let the clusters cool and set at room temperature.
- Optional Chocolate Drizzle: Melt chocolate and drizzle over the clusters if desired.
Notes
- To toast pecans, bake at 350°F for 7–8 minutes.
