Description

Delicious and easy-to-make Hibachi Noodles, featuring tender linguine tossed in a flavorful blend of garlic, butter, soy sauce, and teriyaki sauce with a hint of sesame. Perfect as a quick weeknight meal or a side dish to your favorite Asian-inspired dishes.

Ingredients

Scale

Noodles

  • 1 lb linguine or noodles/pasta of choice, cooked al dente

Sauce and Flavorings

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon teriyaki sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Melt the Butter: In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt the butter carefully allowing it to become hot but not burnt.
  2. Sauté Garlic: Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for about 30 seconds or until fragrant, making sure not to burn the garlic.
  3. Combine Noodles: Add the cooked linguine noodles to the skillet and toss them thoroughly to coat with the garlic butter mixture.
  4. Add Sauces and Sugar: Stir in the sugar, soy sauce, and teriyaki sauce evenly, ensuring the noodles absorb all the flavors.
  5. Season: Taste and season the noodles with salt and pepper according to your preference.
  6. Add Sesame Oil: Remove the skillet from heat and drizzle the sesame oil over the noodles for that authentic nutty flavor.
  7. Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle sesame seeds on top if using, and serve the hibachi noodles hot for the best taste.

Notes

  • Use noodles cooked al dente to prevent them from getting mushy during cooking.
  • You can substitute linguine with your favorite noodle such as lo mein or spaghetti if desired.
  • For added protein, consider adding cooked chicken, shrimp, or tofu.
  • Adjust sugar quantity to taste to balance sweetness with soy and teriyaki flavors.
  • Sesame seeds add a nice texture and visual appeal but are optional.
