Ingredients
Custard Toast:
- 2 slices thick-cut bread (such as brioche or sourdough)
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup fresh fruit (such as berries, banana slices, or peach slices)
- powdered sugar or cinnamon for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix Custard: In a small bowl, whisk together the egg, Greek yogurt, maple syrup or honey, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Prepare Bread: Using the back of a spoon, gently press the center of each bread slice to create a shallow well without tearing the crust. Fill with the custard mixture.
- Add Fruit: Top with fresh fruit slices.
- Air Fry: Place the custard toasts in the air fryer basket and air fry for 5–7 minutes until set.
- Serve: Dust with powdered sugar or cinnamon and serve warm.
