Ingredients
Frozen Cheese Ravioli Layer:
- 1 (25 oz) bag frozen cheese ravioli
Meat Layer:
- 1 pound ground beef or Italian sausage
Sauce Layer:
- 1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
Cheese Layers:
- 1 (15 oz) container ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Seasonings and Garnish:
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the Meat: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or sausage until browned. Season with garlic powder, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Remove from heat.
- Layer Ingredients: Spray the crockpot with non-stick spray. Spread marinara sauce on the bottom. Layer ravioli, meat, ricotta, mozzarella, and sauce. Repeat layers, finishing with cheese on top.
- Cook: Cover and cook on LOW for 4 hours until bubbly. Garnish with basil or parsley before serving.
Notes
- You can make a vegetarian version with sautéed mushrooms or spinach.
- No need to thaw the ravioli beforehand.
- Serve with garlic bread and a salad for a complete meal.
