  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil: In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil.
  2. Cook beef: Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 6–8 minutes. Drain excess grease if needed.
  3. Add vegetables: Add onion, bell peppers, and garlic. Sauté until vegetables are softened, about 5–6 minutes.
  4. Season and simmer: Stir in Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and marinara sauce. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  5. Add cheese: Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheeses over the beef mixture. Cover and let melt for 2–3 minutes.
