Ingredients
Gelatin Mixture
- 3 Packages Gelatin
- 3 cups Water
- 1 cup Apple Vodka
- 1/4 cup Torani Green Apple Syrup Flavoring
- A few drops Neon Green Food Coloring Gel
Caramel Topping
- 1 package Caramels (about 15 pieces)
Instructions
- Bloom the Gelatin: In a medium-sized bowl or small pitcher, pour in the water and sprinkle the gelatin evenly on top. Let it sit for a few minutes to bloom according to the gelatin package instructions, then stir thoroughly to blend the mixture.
- Add Flavors and Color: Pour in the apple vodka and stir well. Add the Torani Green Apple Syrup and mix again. Drop in several drops of neon green food coloring gel and stir until the color is evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
- Adjust Color and Set: Add a few more drops of food coloring if needed to achieve your desired vibrant hue. Carefully pour the gelatin mixture into shot glasses and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, allowing the gelatin to fully set and become firm.
- Melt the Caramel: Once the jello shots have set, unwrap about 15 caramels and place them in a microwave-safe dish. Heat them in the microwave for 30 to 45 seconds, stirring every 15 seconds to ensure even melting and prevent burning.
- Assemble and Serve: Remove the set jello shots from the refrigerator and spoon the melted caramel over the top of each shot glass. It’s normal for the caramel to run down the sides of the glasses. Let the caramel cool slightly before serving. Enjoy the perfect blend of tart apple and sweet caramel flavors!
