Ingredients
Nacho Layers
- 1 bag tortilla chips
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 cup cooked ground beef or chicken (optional)
- 1/2 cup black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup sliced black olives
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup sliced green onions
For Baking
- 1 tbsp olive oil (for greasing the Bundt pan)
For Serving
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup salsa
- 1/4 cup guacamole
- Jalapeño slices (optional, for extra heat)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a Bundt pan with olive oil or non-stick spray to prevent the nachos from sticking.
- Layer Base: Start by layering tortilla chips around the bottom of the Bundt pan, creating a base layer. Then, sprinkle with a small amount of cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese.
- Build Layers: Add additional layers of tortilla chips, followed by cooked ground beef or chicken if using, black beans, sliced black olives, diced tomatoes, green onions, and a mix of shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses. Repeat layering until the Bundt pan is full, finishing with a generous layer of cheese on top.
- Bake Covered: Cover the Bundt pan loosely with aluminum foil and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly throughout the layers.
- Bake Uncovered: Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes to allow the cheese on top to become slightly golden and crispy.
- Cool and Unmold: Carefully remove the Bundt pan from the oven and let the nachos cool for a few minutes. Gently invert the pan onto a serving plate to release the nachos, revealing a beautiful, circular nacho arrangement.
- Serve: Serve the nachos with sour cream, salsa, guacamole, and jalapeño slices on the side for dipping. Enjoy!
Notes
- You can substitute ground beef or chicken with plant-based meat alternatives for a vegetarian option.
- Adjust the amount of jalapeño slices based on your desired heat level.
- Make sure to grease the Bundt pan well to prevent nachos from sticking and breaking.
- Use fresh diced tomatoes and green onions for a bright, fresh flavor contrast.
- Serve immediately after baking for the best texture and taste.
