Ingredients
Puff Pastry Bites:
- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 4 ounces Brie cheese, cut into small cubes (rind optional)
- 1/4 cup jam or preserves (such as raspberry, fig, or apricot)
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Optional toppings: chopped pecans, fresh thyme, or a drizzle of honey
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F and grease a mini muffin tin or line with mini cupcake liners.
- Prepare the pastry: Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a floured surface, cut into squares, and press into the muffin tin wells.
- Add Brie and jam: Place a cube of Brie and a spoonful of jam in each pastry cup.
- Brush with egg wash: Brush the pastry edges with beaten egg and add optional toppings.
