Ingredients
Chocolate Mixture
- 1 bag (12 oz) Milk Chocolate Chips
- 1 bag (12 oz) Butterscotch Chips
- 1/4 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
Base
- 12 ounces Chow Mein Noodles
Decoration
- 1 bag Cadbury Mini Eggs
Instructions
- Melt the Chocolate and Butterscotch Chips: In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the milk chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, and creamy peanut butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each until the mixture is smooth and fully melted.
- Mix in Chow Mein Noodles: Gently fold the chow mein noodles into the melted chocolate-peanut butter mixture, ensuring all noodles are well coated without breaking them excessively.
- Form the Nests: Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Using the back of the spoon, shape each mound into a nest shape by creating a small well in the center to hold the eggs.
- Add Cadbury Mini Eggs: While the nests are still warm and slightly soft, press 2-3 Cadbury Mini Eggs into the center of each nest to resemble eggs in a bird’s nest.
- Set and Chill: Place the tray in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to let the nests firm up and set completely before serving.
Notes
- These cookies do not require baking, making them a quick and easy treat.
- Store the cookies in an airtight container in the refrigerator to maintain texture and freshness.
- You can substitute the Cadbury Mini Eggs with any small chocolate eggs or candies of your choice.
- Be gentle when mixing the noodles to prevent them from breaking too much, maintaining the nest’s texture.
