Ingredients
Bean Layer
- 16 ounces refried beans (1 can, 16 oz)
- 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
Guacamole Layer
- 1 cup guacamole
Sour Cream Layer
- 1 cup sour cream
Salsa Layer
- 1 cup salsa or pico de gallo
Cheese Layer
- 1 cup finely shredded cheddar cheese
Garnishes
- Green onions, sliced (for garnish)
- Freshly chopped cilantro (for garnish)
- 2 Roma tomatoes, seeded and diced
- 2.25 ounces sliced black olives, drained (1 can, 2.25 oz)
Instructions
- Prepare and Pipe Refried Beans: In a bowl, combine the 16 ounces of refried beans with 1 tablespoon of taco seasoning, mixing well until fully blended. Transfer this mixture to a piping bag, snip about 1 inch off the tip, and pipe the beans into the bottoms of clear party cups. Use an offset spatula to smooth the surface for an even layer.
- Add Guacamole Layer: Fill another piping bag with 1 cup of guacamole, snip the tip, and carefully squeeze the guacamole over the bean layer in each cup. Gently tap the cups to help settle and even out this layer.
- Layer Sour Cream: Place 1 cup of sour cream into a piping bag, snip the end, and pipe it evenly over the guacamole in each cup. Smooth the top using a clean offset spatula for a neat finish.
- Layer Salsa: Fill a piping bag with 1 cup of salsa or pico de gallo, snip the end, and squeeze it over the sour cream layer. Tap the cups gently to help the salsa layer settle evenly.
- Top with Cheese and Garnishes: Sprinkle 1 cup of finely shredded cheddar cheese over the salsa layer. Finish by garnishing with sliced green onions, freshly chopped cilantro, diced Roma tomatoes, and sliced black olives to complete the 7-layer presentation. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to enjoy.
